Following the attacks of September

The U.S. received over a dozen warnings from allies before
9/11, specifying time frame, targets and method of attack.
The attorney General stopped flying commercially and other
U.S. officials took similar actions to protect themselves
while never warning the American public.
Thousands of al Qaeda fighters were airlifted from Afghanistan
during the war by Pakistan - with the expressed approval of
the U.S. military.
According to the CIA Field Commander for Tora Bora during
the invasion, the U.S. chose to let Osama bin Laden escape
Afghanistan.
Within days of 9/11, the White House secretly worked out a
deal to partner with a nation it knew to be a state sponsor
of the attacks.
Most are unaware that the formation of the 9/11 Commission
was strongly opposed by many in Washington including the Bush
administration. It was only due to the pressure from the 9/11
families, led by a particular twelve calling themselves the
Family Steering Committee, that fourteen months after the
attacks, the first hearing finally began. In the end, the
Final Report failed to answer seventy percent of the families'
questions. In 9/11 Press for Truth, five of the most prominent
members of the Family Steering Committee tell their story
for the first time, providing most powerful argument yet for
why 9/11 still needs investigating.
